Govt to cap treatment cost for Covid in pvt hosps

In a move to prevent profiteering by private hospitals, the state health department is planning to cap inpatient treatment cost for Covid-19 patients at Rs 7,500 to Rs 22,500 a day by invoking provisions of the Epidemic Diseases Act.
