Covid infection rate may be slowing in Chennai

Three days ahead of the end of the intensive lockdown in the city, 1,939 people tested positive for the viral infection. In the last three days, the city has reported more than 1,800 cases daily. Yet, epidemiologists say the rate of infection is beginning to slow.
