CCTV footage released by traders in Sathankulam area on Monday on the events that led to the arrest of P Jeyaraj (58) and J Beniks (31) in Tuticorin has exposed police lies that the father-son duo had fallen on the road, injuring themselves in the process, before they were arrested. Police have been maintaining that the injuries on their bodies were caused due to the fall and that the two were not tortured in police custody.
