Accidents up on ‘dark’ Tambaram highway

Non-functional street lights are causing frequent road accidents along Tambaram-Chengelpattu Highway. Given that intense lockdown was imposed, motorists were found driving at higher speeds and absence of light to differentiate lanes, particularly along sharp curves, say residents.
