Jeyaraj Ponraj and his son Beniks Jeyaraj who died after they were allegedly brutalized by two sub-inspectors at the Sathankulam police station in Tuticorin district earlier this week, suffered injuries, had medical complications and remained unattended to for several hours before they were lodged in the Kovilpatti sub-jail and later hospitalised.
