TN custodial deaths: Chorus for arrest of accused

Activists, celebrities and corporate heads have come down heavily on the state police and Sathankulam magistrate B Saravanan for the brutal torture in custody of a father-son duo, P Jayaraj, 58, and Beniks, 31, at Sathankulam police station in Tuticorin district on June 19 night and their subsequent death in judicial custody at Kovilpatti two days later.
