TN: Elections to rural local bodies notified

The Tamil Nadu state election commission on Monday notified elections to rural local bodies in 27 districts. The elections will be held in two phases — on December 27 and 30. Elections to the remaining nine districts will be held later. The notification, issued on an extraordinary gazette, followed the Supreme Court order on December 6.
