Chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Saturday hit out at the DMK on what he called its doublespeak on NPR and said DMK did not oppose NPR when it was in alliance with BJP in 2003. “Though the BJP government brought in some changes in NPR, the DMK did not oppose it then,” the CM said. It was implemented in 2010 when the Congress-DMK government was in office in Delhi and the DMK was administering the state, he said.
