PIL in Madras HC wants vote counting telecast live

A candidate contesting the rural local body election has approached the Madras high court seeking direction to the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission to webcast and live-telecast the counting of votes from the counting centres. The entire process shall be monitored through CCTV cameras, he said.
