Robber sedates girl, loots gold, cash in Chennai

Police have launched a hunt for a suspect who barged into a house and stole 10 sovereigns of gold jewellery and Rs 45,000, after he forced a 15-year-old girl in the house to inhale from a sedative-laced handkerchief, in Ambattur on Thursday. The girl was alone at home and had fainted after inhaling the fumes.
