Riverbeds on Chennai's outskirts turn dumpyards

Dumping of biomedical waste continues unabated on riverbeds and vacant plots on the city’s outskirts in areas including Thiruneermalai, Kundrathur, Anakaputhur and Vandalur. Civic activists, concerned about the dumping, have questioned the role of authorities in preventing the menace.
