17 dead in Coimbatore wall collapse incident

Seventeen people, including three children, were buried alive in their sleep after a compound wall weakened by days of incessant rain collapsed on four tiled-roof houses at Adi Dravidar Colony at Nadoor village near Mettupalayam, about 40km from Coimbatore, early on Monday.
