Tamil Nadu: DMK welcomes Modi’s praise of Tamil

DMK on Tuesday welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address to BJP cadre at Chennai airport on Monday in which he stated that Tamil is the oldest language in the world. The party wanted the Centre to make Tamil and all other languages mentioned in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution as official languages.
