A two-year-old girl drowned in a tub of water at her house in Tuticorin district on Monday night while her parents were glued to TV, watching news updates on the bid to rescue toddler Sujith Wilson. Revathi Sanjana was the daughter of fisherman Lingeswaran and his wife, Nisha, of Therespuram coastal village. The couple were watching TV and discussing the rescue efforts when they suddenly realised that their child was missing, police said.
