Two men overpower machete-wielding teen

Two men overpowered a machete-wielding assailant and thwarted a murder attempt in Egmore on Monday. Police said P Raji, 29, and M Ram Kamal, 24, both from Pulianthope, saw a teenager running towards a man on Police Commissioner Road around 5pm. The two were on their way to Nandambakkam when Raji, who was riding pillion on Kamal’s bike, spotted the youngster in a white T-shirt.
