TN govt departments owe discom Rs 1,500 core

The Union and state government departments are major power bill defaulters in Tamil Nadu. At present, ₹1,500 crore is pending from several government departments. Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage (TWAD) Board leads the defaulters’ list with dues of ₹855 crore.
