An average of 46% of self-falls or single-vehicle accidents among two-wheeler riders in the state were fatal, a study by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) has shown. This number increases by 19% in case the rider crashed into a tree, with 65% of such crashes resulting in deaths.
