Officials prepared fake docus for govt land in 46 villages

State authorities investigating the highway land scam spanning two decades at Sriperumbudur seem to have opened a can of worms. A recent development shows that the an officer had flagged malpractices relating to the scam in 2007 and requested a CB-CID probe, but the matter was never taken up.
