Tamil Nadu: Mysterious object turns out to be buoy

A day after a mysterious object fell from the sky at Vadakkupattu near Thirukazhukundram and created panic among the villagers, experts on Tuesday identified it as a naval sonobuoy — used for underwater acoustic research.
