Velachery residents aim to plant 1L saplings in a yr

Residential welfare associations, several clubs and organisations in and around Velachery will create a Miyawaki forest over 2.3 acres of land. This will be done on land belonginging to Southern Railway, from Velachery MRTS till Taramani station, and also near Perungudi station.
