TN reports 1,891 fresh Covid cases, 27 deaths in 24 hrs

Fresh cases in Tamil Nadu dropped further to 1,891 on Wednesday, when all district had fewer than 200 cases each. This pushed the case tally to 25.41 lakh. The death toll, including 27 deaths on Wednesday, took the total toll to 33,809. At the end of the day, 2,423 patients were discharged from the Covid registry and there were 26,158 people under treatment for the viral infection.
