Chennai: Customs officers held for smuggling gold

Two customs officers and another who retired recently from the department were arrested by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) on Friday and sent to prison along with 13 passengers on charges of smuggling gold into the country. DRI officials refused to part with details of the charges.
