Rs 30k device may have saved 20 killed in Tirupur

An additional outgo of Rs 30,000 by Alex Andraper of Icosta Shipping, when he bought his Rs 30-lakh truck last August, might have prevented the collision it had with a Kerala transport bus in Tirupur last Thursday that claimed the lives of 20 passengers. Looks like the accident has prompted truck-makers to consider safety systems more seriously.
