Governor Purohit launches Clean Cooum campaign

The effort to clean up the Cooum river has got a fillip. Members of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) battalion 4 on Friday began near Napier bridge a programme that will continue for at least six months and will compliment the work of Greater Chennai Corporation and Chennai River Restoration Trust.
