Politics over Thiruvalluvar refused to die down in Tamil Nadu with attacks getting more personal. Several BJP leaders mounted a strident attack on DMK president M K Stalin, especially targeting his “perceived shortcomings” in giving extempore speeches and recalling historical facts.
