A lighthouse man in search of ancient ships

A year ago, D Hemachandra Rao, a civil engineer-turned-heritage enthusiast, converted his house into a maritime museum, with models of ancient boats and ships that he had collected during his travels across the nation. Fondly called ‘Lighthouse Man’, this 80-year-old is in search of ancient ships, boats, voyages and lighthouses since his retirement from service in 2001.
