Brace for more rain, Chennai; depression likely in 24hrs

The city continued to reel under the impact of unrelenting showers for the second day on Monday as several neighbourhoods and roads remained flooded. According to the Met department, a lowpressure system likely to form in the next 24 hours will concentrate into a depression and move towards the north TN coast by November 11.
