Tamil Nadu handling Covid-19 better than others: Stalin

Chief minister M K Stalin on Friday inaugurated a facility with 500 oxygenated beds at Thoppur government hospital which would go a long way in meeting the oxygen bed requirement of Madurai. While 200 beds in the facility came into immediate use, the remaining 300 would be made available shortly. In Trichy, he inaugurated a 250-bedbed additional facility at Mahatma Gandhi memorial government hospital, a 100-bed facility at Kalaiarangam marriage hall and a 500-bed Covid care centre on the premises of National Institute of Technology, Trichy (NIT-T).
