There have been fewer crime incidents and road accidents in May compared to previous months owing to the lockdown. There has not been a single road fatality in May so far, while the number of non-fatal accidents has also come down drastically. Lesser vehicles on roads, visible policing and unavailability of alcohol are said to be the reasons for the decrease in road accidents.
