MTC runs 75% fleet, but very few take buses

On the first day of its operations post the Covid-19 lockdown, the MTC operated 2,300 buses, 75% of its fleet, in the city. But passenger patronage was poor. Many bus stops in the city were deserted with only a handful of passengers waiting to board buses.
