TN: Prank call to 108 may bring cops to you

At 1am on Saturday last, the 108 control room got a call asking for an ambulance. The caller claimed he was lying on a main road in Tirunelveli after being hit by a moving vehicle. Half an hour later, when an emergency technician reached the spot and called the “accident victim”, he picked up the call and abused the driver. It turned out to be a hoax call.
