TN's decision on aid to BPL families challenged

Satta Panchayat Iyakkam, an NGO, on Wednesday approached the Madras high court challenging the Tamil Nadu government’s decision to give Rs 2,000 as 'special financial help' to 60 lakh below poverty line (BPL) families in the state.
