Rs 32 crore check dam to be built in Vayalur

Residents of 14 villages in and around Vayalur and several hundred families in the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) township can heave a sigh of relief as their decades-old demand for a check dam across the Palar in the vicinity will soon be fulfilled.
