Minister inspects dengue control measures in Chennai

If stagnant rainwater provided a home for the dengue-causing aedes mosquitos, the growth in construction activities and increase in people’s movement — for work and leisure — during the daytime has given them a fine host, say public health experts. Hospitals, including pediatric wards, across the city are reporting a spike in dengue cases over the last two months.
