Chief minister M K Stalin on Saturday announced that July 18 will be observed as Tamil Nadu Day. He also said the state government would present Rs1 lakh cash prize each to 110 ‘Border Saviours’ on November 1 to honour their struggle to safeguard the border of Tamil Nadu when the states were formed on linguistic basis in 1956.
