'We can't burden our stressed health workers more'

Explaining the rationale behind imposing total lockdown in the state for a week starting from Monday, Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin said on Saturday that all those working in the health sector were facing major psychological stress. Doctors, nurses and other frontline health workers have faced immeasurable hardships. Many doctors have died. Others are working without bothering about their lives. They cannot be burdened with more pressure, he said.
