Chennai gets 24x7 screening centre for Covid-19

Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) on Saturday opened a 24x7 screening centre in the Kendriya Vidyalaya branch at Island Grounds near Chennai Central railway station. The centre can handle up to 1,000 Covid-19 patients a day and has been set up equidistant from Rajiv Gandhi Government General hospital and Omandurar multi-speciality hospital.
