34,867 new Covid-19 cases in Tamil Nadu; 4,985 in Chennai

On a day active cases in the state breached the three-lakh mark, the state recorded a decline in fresh cases for the third consecutive day on Monday. The state added 34,867 new cases and 404 deaths to the Covid registry. After discharging 27,026 patients there were 3.01 lakh people undergoing treatment.
