Madras HC restrains sale of unpackaged edible oil

Restraining the sale of edible oils in loose on the ground that they are mostly adulterated and would have serious consequences on the consumers’ health, the Madras high court on Friday observed that the state government should bring an amendment to book people who are involved in adulteration of food products under the Goondas Act.
