Maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s final sojourn at a place he considered sacred turned out to be a no-show after he learnt through his counsel that his personal chambers at Prasad Studios were dismantled and his belongings and awards, including the Padma Vibushan, were found stacked in a corner.
