Cyclone Burevi set to cross TN coast today: IMD

After moving at a speed of 9kmph over Gulf of Mannar close to Pamban, cyclonic storm Burevi, which brought widespread rainfall in the state, weakened into a deep depression on Thursday evening. IMD officials said the system is likely to further weaken into a depression on Friday morning after crossing Ramanathapuram and Tuticorin.
