Advocates on strike cannot wear gowns: Madras HC

Days after it reiterated the Supreme Court order that advocates cannot resort to strike, Madras high court on Wednesday directed the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry to ask advocates not to wear black gown and neck band while participating in strikes.
