Chennai: Metro QR-code yet to be seamless

Metro rail commuters with a QR-code ticket could walk straight to the platform by tapping their phone on a scanner as the service was meant to provide contactless travel, but it doesn’t seem so for all. Some commuters are also forced to purchase a smart card to pay for parking.
