HC laments lack of funds for mental health care

Though the World Health Organisation (WHO) has cautioned that about 20% of India's population will suffer from some form of mental illness by 2020, the nation spends a paltry 20 paise per person per month to treat 15 crore people who needed treatment in 2018-19, Madras high court has lamented.
