Tamil Nadu: EPS may okay steering panel

Chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami is likely to concede ground and agree to the constitution of a steering committee to resolve the deadlock between him and deputy CM O Panneerselvam. It will be a quid pro quo for OPS, the AIADMK coordinator, to end the standoff and announce co-coordinator EPS, as the chief minister candidate for the 2021 assembly election, said a source close to EPS.
