Chennai: Wholesale cost of onion drops by Rs 20

A week after onion prices skyrocketed with the staple vegetable costing more than Rs 100 a kilogram in city neighbourhood markets, its rate has taken a turn and is falling at the Koyambedu wholesale market. Better arrivals caused a drop by Rs 20.
