TN: 'One Nation One Ration Card' from Oct 1

The Tamil Nadu government has decided to implement One Nation One Ration Card scheme from October 1 to enable ration card holders to get their entitled quota of subsidized foodgrain from PDS outlets of their choice anywhere in the state. The state will ensure biometric authentication for all cardholders in the shops for getting their monthly entitlement, sources said.
