Tamil Nadu tops in road accidents for 3rd year

Tamil Nadu has the dubious distinction of recording the highest number of road accidents in the country for the third successive year, though there were fewer than in the previous year. In 2019, Tamil Nadu saw 57,228 cases, while Madhya Pradesh was second with 51,641 cases and Karnataka third with 40,644. TN recorded 63,920 road accidents in 2018.
