6 months on, TN has third highest Covid cases

In the six months since its first case of Covid-19 was detected, Tamil Nadu has the third highest case tally in the country of 4,69,256 cases and the second highest toll of 7,925 deaths, which includes the 5,776 new cases and 89 deaths on Monday. The silver lining is that active cases number 51,215, lower than in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh.
