Asymptomatic or moderately symptomatic patients being treated at Covid care centres (CCC) in the city may be allowed to go home two or three days after admission, according to a new protocol. However, this will be subject to an authorisation letter issued by the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC)’s sanitary inspector that the patient has proper facilities to be in home isolation.
